About
Emily began her career in Public Relations over 20 years ago, managing high-profile client accounts (Morocco Tourism Board, Diageo, Philips, Pernod Ricard, and Guinness) for international PR firms, before moving into a corporate position. Joining IHG Hotels & Resorts in 2014, Emily spent 10+ years in global roles, advising senior executives and delivering strategic internal communications to build brand advocacy amongst corporate colleagues and hotel leaders across major markets, including UK, US, Middle East and South East Asia. During this time, Emily and her family spent five years living in Singapore, where she gained her coaching accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She launched her coaching business in 2021, shortly after returning to live the UK.
As an independent Executive & Career Coach with clients around the world, Emily supports professionals who are contemplating a career change, navigating challenges such as feeling stuck or stagnant in their career, or looking for support in managing tricky relationships/team dynamics.
She also works as an associate coach and independent advisor for Folgate Advisors, who offer a range of services to support leaders in the business of Communications.
Approach
Emily has a special interest in Relational Intelligence. Using a blend of coaching, with practical communication and leadership assessment tools, Emily helps her clients to understand and enhance their communication, self-awareness, empathy and trust-building skills, so they can move forwards in their career with clarity and conviction.
Her ability to build trust and rapport quickly has enabled her to coach clients across a range of industries, countries and cultures - with clients describing her approach as ‘empathic and incisive.’
